I have been tasked with editing a translation of an arctical from a Brazilian newspaper. Here's the thing though the pdf I have of the newspaper is hell of bad to where the letters are tiny and blurry. (Don't even tell me to use the zoom function I already know that. When I use zoom function the letters don't become any more readable still blurry.) And so now my eyes literally hurt, as in they have got pain to them.

There's another arctical I need to do yet it is even worse. I think I am going to ask to be pervided with a better copy or maybe a transcription into words that the eyes of man can read.

The friendliest city I've ever visited was Asheville, NC. It was pretty crazy how nice everyone was.

It was also like a destination for Athens, GA expats. I met someone who'd lived in Athens nearly every place I went.

The first couple months I lived in Athens, I was all suspicious of how friendly everyone was. I kept suspecting that they were putting me on, like why are random people going out of their way to be friendly and helpful? Not used to that living on the East Coast.

Is the birdman dead? Two weeks without posting? It doesn't seem like he did anything ban worthy shortly before his disappearance.

Some days you just hate people around you because they do stupid, annoying shit.

Today is one of those days.

You're young yet. Eventually you'll realize that's every day.

Tried to enjoy a meal at a nice restaurant but my evening was ruined by the following events. There was a family with children at the restaurant when it was the young boy's turn to order he said "I will have a pasta El Dumpty please!" Couple minutes later the waitress brings out a plate of brittle pasta broken into a thousand tiny pieces (such as like had fallen off a wall). Straightaway the child said "I'm sorry I just made the wrong sound on accident I meant to say El Dentee." But the waitress said "This isn't Golden Corral you get one chance to order must needs get it right." All the other guests started laughing and mocking the youngster. Well you can guess what I did I ordered a plate of pasta al dente and when it came I gave it to the child. Then I said loudly "Y'alls chipstangs better hope the Creator was napping didn't notice what you han done just now because otherwise you are at risk of punishment everlasting just put 'er that way." I also said some F-bombs.

Haha. You would go full-on paranoid schizo in Asheville. I consider the friendliness in Athens to be pretty much baseline for the South, which is probably friendlier than most other regions, but Asheville was next level. I'm not sure why it was that way, but it was refreshing.
