don't know how i managed to do this, but i think i injured my left rotator cuff and right elbow simultaneously. worked out, did some stuff around the house, and the next morning - pain!

Take it easy, rotator cuff injuries are no joke. Hopefully it's just inflamed, try a little ice and Aleve.

this has me seeing red - would appreciate mature feedback on this:
my wife is out of town, and for the past few days i've been snapping a few iPhone photos of my kid (3-year-old-daughter) in various candids that represent our home life together. i've forwarded the photos via text to my wife so that she's felt connected while away.
one of the photos was of her in the shower. one of us has to give her a bath or shower every night (obviously), and she was hamming it up in the shower a bit and i snapped a pic and sent it to my wife. she has her back turned to the cam and yes you can see her 3-year-old butt but she's looking back and smiling and holding a toy.
a day or so later i got a text from her auntie - my mother-in-law's sister. Let's call her Rose. Rose watched my daughter for the first 3 years of her life - she was our day care provider, 1-on-1, until our daughter started preschool just a month or two ago. auntie was saying she missed our daughter, and i forwarded the pic because i thought it was cute.
I then sent it to my mother in law, who had called earlier in the evening, thinking hey, maybe she'll think this is cute too. that's it - both people who have seen the kid in this exact scenario before. In fact, I believe both have, within the past week.
anyways, the fact that i took and forwarded this pic is now a cause of great ******* consternation with the in-laws, who are apparently beside themselves with this immodest photo and the father who took it, it being inappropriate at her age and whatnot. they are all talking about it and apparently some in the family "can't even look at it."
am i nuts for being outraged at what i am perceiving as a pretty salacious implication?
(ib4 post is useless without pics)

I have no idea of the content of the photos in this case, but this is the kind of **** we have to deal with nowadays.

I assume you're prepared for power loss, yes? I hope it stays on.

as much as we can be. i wanted more flashlights (inb4fleshlightsfix), but there is not a single one still for sale. i hope we dont lose power, but if we do, i think we wil manage somehow.

yeah, part of the problem is that its a cultural thing. the guy has 40 cheap suits, all in garish patterns, and a whole bunch of cheap shoes, with long, curly toes. so he doens't see me as well dressed, which I don't care about. and his casual clothes are brigth sweatshirts and jeans and sneakers. which is all fine, until you are in HQ, where we have a dress code that is based on US concepts of business casual. so you have to dress like all the other drones, for 2-3 days a year. how ******* hard is that?

**** me, so a week after this guy has been disrupting my sales strategy meeting, he tells me his wife had a miscarriage the first day of the meeting, which has been driving his being an asshole.

If I had known I would have sent him home, and I tried to get him to go home now, and he doesn't want to. Now I feel like a real ahole.

You can only make decisions based on the information you have. There's no way you could have known that.
