I just want to bring a moderator's perspective to the Maybach controversy.
We here at SF take our claims regarding luxury items very, very seriously, and we simply cannot risk having members tarnish our brand by attempting to pass off inferior goods as authentic. However, as big-time ballers ourselves, we also understand the need for security through misdirection.
The above all being the case, I have decided to launch an official investigation into member Link and Descent's claims regarding ownership of a certain automobile (as well as his statements on other matters). As part of this investigation, I will be flying to his home city in the official SF moderators private jet this afternoon (it's branded in the style of Southwest Airlines for the sake of safety and anonymity). Upon my arrival, I will inspect his automobile and any other controversial goods and make a decision as to the veracity of his claims.
Please understand that SF investigations emphasize discreetness (most of you probably didn't even know such a thing exists, and I'm only mentioning it here because this is clearly an issue of very public controversy). That being the case, there will be no public release of my findings, whether favorable or not. However, rest assured that my decision will be swift and final. I intend to conclude the inquiry and issue a ruling by noon EDT tomorrow, 6/12/15, and the penalty for even a single lie or obfuscation is immediate and permanent banination. As such, if member Link and Descent is still posting after the aforementioned date and time, you can draw a pretty obvious conclusion regarding the truth I found in his claims.
Thank you for your patience as we work to make SF a better place for the one percent of the one percenters.
