Central America? Eastern Europe?

Anyone ever do this before? Thinking about going away for a month, maybe even two. My best friend wants to join me but I'm leaning towards doing this solo.

To be honest, I'm getting excited about this travel idea. Deleting all my stupid work-associated apps from my phone felt very cathartic. I was getting to the point where certain clients were seriously ruining my day. Like, I legit HATED them as people and wish I could have chewed them out for being so difficult and fucking stupid. That was a sign that the job was getting to me. Maybe getting laid off is just what I needed.. as cliche as that sounds.

I went to Albania last summer. Beautiful and undeveloped. Imagine Croatia twenty years ago.

I guess we just have different priorities then. Hope things work out for you.

You border on the Adriatic
Your land is mostly mountainous
And your chief export is chrome.

I don't know what your definition of beyond dangerous is but Medellin is supposed to be a great place to visit.

Central America? Eastern Europe?

Myanmar, Iran, Korea, Japan, southern Brazil, Chile.

Colombia isn't as dangerous as it was 10 years ago, Medellin and Bogota should be safe.

Venezuela is way more dangerous.

I'm certain you won't regret the decision -- and fairly certain you'll be kicking yourself in the future if you pass up the opportunity.

I don't know, I wouldn't be able to relax knowing I didn't have a job and I was throwing away money at the same time. I'd probably have a nervous breakdown on the plane to anywhere.

It's highly restrictive and needs to be set up well in advance. You also have the be escorted by Iranian personnel wherever you go.

Sounds like North Korea, which is also a place he could go.

Colombia is a lot safer then many other places in South and Central America these days.

Brazil is way more dangerous.

Chile is probably the safest country in South America, and has a huge variety of climates and terrains. Andes and beach are very close to eachother.

Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama are the safest in Central America. Also no visas needed for Americans.

No, the safest place in South America is Miami

Well, relatively
