Ah! I know what position he'd be best for: professional craigslist seller and eBay buyer

I'd hire OTC for the position of "the guy who makes posts that are by all accounts insightful but probably don't get read in their entirety very often because brevity isn't his strong suit."

Then I'd have him write all of my contracts and include a bunch of incredibly favorable-for-me language embedded halfway through on, like, page 6,934.

Yeah, who would want to read posts with facts and data. We should just stick to our talking points. Plus, I enjoyed his posts on cell phone arbitrage and broadband stuff.

Those 15 hours reading his posts really did save me 15%. biggrin.gif

My posts are incomplete if at least 50% of the sentences don't contain parenthetical statements (or maybe I will insert the extra content via some em-dashes instead). You should see them *before* I edit them down.

They're probably still more readable than when Lincy gets all stream of consciousness.

Well, I'm not one for poetry, so I still hold his posts in higher regard than that.

Let's not get into a tiff, Brokensies. We've been pretty friendly up to this point. I don't want to see us start a senseless internet battle over this.

Alright, but only because for a lawyer you seem like an okay bloke.

In College and Hiding from Scary Ideas: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/22/opinion/sunday/judith-shulevitz-hiding-from-scary-ideas.html?_r=0

"The safe space, Ms. Byron explained, was intended to give people who might find comments “troubling” or “triggering,” a place to recuperate. The room was equipped with cookies, coloring books, bubbles, Play-Doh, calming music, pillows, blankets and a video of frolicking puppies, as well as students and staff members trained to deal with trauma... after a while, she had to return to the safe space. 'I was feeling bombarded by a lot of viewpoints that really go against my dearly and closely held beliefs,' Ms. Hall said."

and

"A year and a half ago, a Hampshire College student group disinvited an Afrofunk band that had been attacked on social media for having too many white musicians; the vitriolic discussion had made students feel “unsafe.”"
