I am on a plane so I can't call my lawyer (and also I don't have a lawyer), but I feel like morally, ethically, and legally I should be allowed to straight up murder this guy.

I told dcg to get us into first class (to change the forecast 🎵) but he's a cheap asshole.

I'm excited for the L'inc post in his professional sports uniforms series about the new Browns logo.

It's new to them.

So let's look at the scenario with your additions:

Young guy, on the job one week, pushing "newer stuff."

Old people, happy with old technology, established employees.

Do you not see where my advice still fits perfectly? Best way to get people to change is to convince them change is good. Best way to convince people IRL is to let them get to know you before you start telling them how they're doing it the old fashioned way. I know this will grate on you but this task is easily accomplished through relationship building and will be almost impossible to accomplish without it.

Such a perfect condensation of consultant mentality. You can't just steamroll everyone a week in. You have no credibility, even if you're right by the numbers. It's even worse if you're a permanent employee and not a consultant.

Why are people always surprised when they're the new hire with a bunch of ideas for how to make everything run better and they face resentment for it? Of course people are going to resent you. You have to be at least in management to get away with that sort of thing, no way can you do it to peers.

Thank god I don't have a real job and don't have to listen to people. I just get to drink all day.

So far so good. They've brightened the shade of orange on the helmet and added a brown facemask. Still no logo on the helmet, which I am pleased about. The rest of the uniforms don't get unveiled until April 14, but I am not even going to lie, I have my worries.

It has almost never happened that a team has updated its uniforms and the change has been for the better

Yeah, like when the Giants went back to the NY logo. The Giants one was crap.

It was definitely an improvement when the Broncos changed from their brown and yellow uniforms to their blue and orange ones. And when the Rams changed from blue and white to blue and yellow. (Although the move to navy and gold was awful.) I also like the Pirates better in black and yellow than in red and blue.

The early 80's was the pinnacle of many things, and sports team uniform design was one of those things.
