Eh, the Nexus 5 is about as old as the Moto X, similar usability performance, and has worse battery life (which is another thing the 2nd gen Moto X sucks at...the original Moto X was fantastic).
S6 is coming, but probably won't interest me. They seem intent on pushing "omg most powerful phone ever" over actual usability, and I already thought the S5 was too big to use with one hand (couldn't reach the entire screen with my thumb). Does anyone actually care if their phone records 4k video? I know someone has to push technology forwards, but come on...instead give me a battery that will make it through a full day and still be alive in the morning if I spend the night somewhere where they don't have a spare charger.
Otherwise I am just going to buy some cheap nokia with button input, gobs of battery life, and enough capacity to get exchange email, run maps, and browse some fractured websites, until it is time to upgrade and someone has released a phone I like.
