completed that stupid "record retention" training. Received an email confirmation, and in the confirmation it specifically says "please retain this for your records".

I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it.

Just don't delete it. That's your confirmation that you took the training and acknowledge the "penalties."

I'm a man who just gets some anxiety in the mind betimes worry about things don't need to worry about. One of the things I often worry about is that my shoelaces are coming untied. Today I was walking from one building to another and I got that anxiety even what I was wearing double monk style of shoe. I was like "jeez."

It's asking you to retain a record of taking record retention training. Obvi a trap

there's this old distant friend who is having a Facebook meltdown about the Patriots deflated ball controversy of all things. he hates the patriots and its actually threatening other people (who at first innocently would joke around with each insane new post and devolved into a full trolling).

I thought the last Obama election was bad apparently some inane sports "controversy" is what really set him off.

Today, I discovered a pretty substantial fuck-up in something I did at work. Not a lose-your-job fuck-up or anything, but still embarrassing. The worst part is that it happened because I wasn't properly trained on something when I started and I was told (by my boss) to use information for this project that turned out to be faulty. I'm going to have to tell my boss about it, and that's going to blow, because it's going to look bad for me if I don't explain what happened, but the truth is that this happened because of things that were beyond my control (and partially caused by him). That means I could be perceived as not owning up to my mistake and trying to blame my boss for it.

Not sure how I'm going to deal with this one.
