I love Silent Shout, but am really not a fan of Shaking the Habitual and unfortunately when they tour, they don't play their old stuff.

The shows look like an awesome event and all, but I had tickets the last time they were here and ended up selling them just because I didn't think it sounded like a fun tuesday or whatever. I don't want to be the guy yelling "Play freebird!!!", but it is kind of weird for a band to tour and not even think about playing their biggest hits.

Awesome, I need to take some visiting exec types out tomorrow night. I'll see if they're up for south beach

oh yeah, I'm a huge fan of an HOUR LONG courses on anti money laundering. And code of conduct training, big fan. And records management technique, of course I have 45 minutes for that.

let me know if it's still solid. It's odd ordering "spaghetti" over the other pasta dishes, but it's what has to be done.

Sounds like the military. Except replace all of that with sexual harassment and suicide prevention.

Sounds like we're in the same industry, gomey.

It was worse for me when I had the international job. It wasn't just US regs, but European SEPA, Mexican and Indian banking law, etc. I actually think my company paid me 1/50th of my salaried time just to sit in trainings

the worst is when they play games with how fast you can breeze through. "please click on each module on the screen, and then you can click next"

I have calluses on my fingers from playing the bass guitar (musical instrument), to where my ability to use trackpad on my Apple computer and also touch screen technologies such as ATM is affected (for the worse).

I did that last week. I sat through a bunch of anti-market manipulation bullshit.

I remember in college this girl was wildly dancing to a Kinfe song and her hair got caught in my tie clip. It was hilarious.

didn't know about selling the sauces, but the dish at the restaurant is fucking incredible. It's also like $30, but everytime I'm near the restaurant I think about stopping in and just doing it. Which, I have done before.

You think it's worth shelling out 30 bucks for this?:

that might not be it, the logo looks different.

here's the recipe:

http://newyork.seriouseats.com/2009/10/making-scarpetta-tomato-basil-spaghetti-scott-conant-scarpetta-meatpacking-district-nyce.html

looks like a pain in the ass to make, but I might do it for Valentine's day.

just get your hands dirty for 1-2 hours, double it up, and put some in the freezer.

I'm betting that's how Hroi makes his sauce, too.
