Yes, yes it does. There's just nothing opening up - everyone is staying put where they are. I've thought about trying to change things up a bit with regard to my field, but that brings with it a whole new set of challenges.
I have at least one option I'm exploring that is more of a contact than an opening, so maybe that route will work out. Actually, there are a few things out there I'm considering, so maybe something will come of one of them. We'll see.
Heh, well, at the very least I seem to be those things, and, in these cases, it's really just the appearance that matters, anyway! Seriously, though, thanks. I do feel like I'm a solid candidate, but there are just so few places to actually give that a try right now that it's infuriating.
So sorry to hear this, dude. I hope all who knew him are able to find peace.

thanks G-man. much appreciated.

i hope your contacts pull through for ya.

geez stich you go to a ton of funerals.... sorry about your loss.

thanks doc. yeah, i guess i do. i live in a pretty big community, and my ties to it are pretty strong, so i inevitably end up having to go to a number of these a year some years.

Google Chrome suuuucks on my mac. It has issues with flash (big surprise there) and won't even play youtube videos. Chrome is the shittiest of the three browsers on my mac yet its has all these boastful claims being awesome in commercials and on its own website.
Its nice to actually have things set up specifically within different browsers (SF, Facebook, accounts on Safari) (MLB.tv and poker/sportsbook/gambling stiles on Firefox) and my work facebook/twitter/other **** on chrome.

really? i use chrome exclusively on my mac, never had any issues. wonder why that is.

Yeah Chrome always has trouble with flash for me. Especially on pages with a lot of embedded Youtube videos or gifs. The only one I can stand to use is Opera, and even then lots of pages don't work with Opera. I remember when Firefox was simple and worked right and everything was in its proper place.

Chrome is the best browser and has no issues on mac for me.

sorry son. never an easy thing to deal with.

My team recently took over all accounts in Arkansas. fairly certain "arkansas" is slang for "the taint of the country" Dealing with these slackjawed inbreds is going to be the death of me.

I thought "Arkansas" was slang for "Walmart" when it comes to doing business there.

Not actually pissing me off, but I was doing some suit shopping today and, as always happens, I overheard conversations that were painful to listen to. One guy was looking for a blazer. Every time he saw one he might like, he asked the SA "Is this navy or black? Because I need a black blazer." To the store's credit, none of the blazers were black. Another woman expressed dismay at the cost of the merchandise. She informed the SA at great length that in Massachusetts, there's no sales tax for clothes. (The store where we were shopping is not in Massachusetts, but rather in St. Louis, MO, where we do have sales tax for clothes.)
