not a bad idea on the pot. A really good 4.5 quart pot would get FAR more use.

Jesus dude, you work for some sort of consulting firm that has people traveling all over and you guys don't have a ******* travel agent? Also, you don't have someone back in the office with part of their job description being to deal with the travel agent so you don't have to?
WTF are you doing calling airlines on the phone? Let the travel agent get you on a plane on whatever airline can get you out of there. Plane says it is full? ORLY? See what the travel agent can do. We use the same corporate travel agent as several of our clients and I have seen them get people on "full" flights and into booked up hotels. Sucks for the guy flying on an unconfirmed ticket that got bumped so that you could get on the plane, but hey at least you get to go home. Although that probably depends on how important a client you are...I've seen them tell our people "no" and then a client's assistant was like "let me try" and she came back and was like "yeah, he can be out here on the first flight tomorrow" (they used the same agent but they probably have exponentially more business since their people travel frequently and thus get the ability to squeeze onto planes).
We use Best Travel...I dunno if they give referral bonuses, but if you guys sign up, tell them I sent you and maybe I'll get a free flight somewhere :)

As far as I'm aware, nope, we don't have one. I do internal strategy for a major financial services company and because of that, 90% of our projects are local and require no travel. I'm staffed on a project with a company that's owned by our PE arm and because of that, there's travel on this one specific project. Beyond this one project, no other project requires travel.

Besides, I'm only an entry level grunt so I don't have a secretary to handle all my expenses and travel booking BS like my superiors.
