2. If I am stopped at a red light and there's a "No Turn on Red" sign, I am not going to turn right on red. Even if you are behind me gesticulating like a wild ape and sounding your horn. I wish there were some widely known hand signal that meant "This is a No Turn on Red intersection I am not going to turn."
I share this frustration, but more so when there are pedestrians in the cross-walk, directly in the path of where my car will be going when it moves. I will not be running them over to placate you, driver behind me! I'm also a fan of being tailgated because, while I am driving at the same speed as the cars in front of me, I am not tailgating them. Obviously, the seven tenths of a second you will save by being 100 m farther down the road, but driving the same speed, are important enough to tailgate me, and then pass me in an unsafe fashion.
