i believe it was imploytone that was having issues, but as far as i recall, he is not totally deaf.

A friend of mine, (the one who actually introduced me to Style Forum) got into a bad biking accident and lost his sense of taste and smell. It is crazy.

Yeah, it is really interesting though. He said still has sensations though. Like he can sense sour, sweet, spicy and texture, but no flavor. He just dumps hot sauce on everything now.

I've read about people losing their sense of taste/smell before. It's crazy. A lot of people have trouble maintaining healthy weight because they lose any pleasure related to eating. The whole idea freaks me out.

It's a downward spiral of death for retail places that aren't big box stores: "We have to cut back on stock and employees because people aren't shopping in here that much" So some on walk in says "This place is ****, I am not shopping here" and down and down it goes with each passing day and customer.

It has been a very long time since I shopped for clothing at a brick and mortar store. I get most of my clothes from a tailor. I just need socks. they weren't even displayed, they were in little drawers. It was really pathetic.

My customers seem to think its funny to bag on me and a customer who are both pretty hard of hearing. Oddly enough they weren't laughing when I called them a bunch of fat old balding losers. Potato, po-asshole, I guess.
