My office chair is particularly uncomfortable today.

remove the marital aid :teach:

:)

I am a better plumber than most plumbers and I've been flushing the wipes for 10 years in the same house. If you have a septic tank, that's one thing, but most people on municipal water service with systems less than 50 years old will be fine. It might cause problems for the city disposal system but **** them.

i went food shopping for the first time since getting married. ****, food is expensive.

Yup. Do what I do and you save some dough. Ethnic groceries for staples (indian for chickpeas, lentils, rice, and almonds, mexican for beans, etc), I guess you can't get around the Kosher thing on meat, but I can find out if my goatmeat source is Kosher if you like. Its cheaper than good beef, tastes better and is better for you. Cut down on meat, switch to barley or something instead of bread dishes, a 4lb bag of barley will run you the same as a loaf of bread and you can make a nice bulgar with a bit of parsley that will fill you up, healthier too. Switch to tea instead of coffee (I'll provide you with my sources) because you save a shitton of cash, and avoid premade/prepackaged grub. Also, margarine is far cheaper than butter and by definition parve. All that also means you can afford fresh veggies from the farmers market, better fiber, better flavor than grocery store, still cheaper (usually) and helps you with the weight loss goals. Carrots and almonds are the perfect snack foods.

Or, he could stop buying stuff during meetings.

I was stupid to leave them there. What's unnerving is the thought that there is someone walking through our neighborhood checking for unlocked doors.

In new york if you leave anything visable, locked or not you are really asking for it.

Around here they don't bother checking for unlocked doors, they just smash in your window and rummage through your ****. Before I had a garage I got in the habit of leaving my glovebox open every night, so the local douchebags could see I wasn't hiding my iPod there or toll money or something.

I live pretty far up in the hills of a nice neighborhood. It is in the middle of the city though and we get guys early in the morning going through the bins door to door for bottles. Never suspected them before, but it wouldn't surprise me if they check car doors too.

Ahh, San Francisco. My friend moved to the Mission 6 years ago with a car and was told "it's just a matter of time." Sure enough, 3 weeks later someone broke his window. Apparently just for the hell of it, since he leaves nothing in there.

i have seen it many times at night, in many neighborhoods, good and bad. hoodlums walking down the street at night peering in cars to see what is there. pieces of ****.

my aunt lives in nyc. she had a car and one morning the window was smashed and radio stolen. got a new one, same thing a few days later. so she had the window fixed and put up a piece of paper saying "no radio in car." soon enough the window was busted with a note left, "buy a new radio."

That's why you can't have anything visable. They smash the windows if they see something that they want. When I had a car and parked on the street I kept the whole thing completely empty. It was never bothered.
