Some pig clogged a toilet in the bathroom at work and there was toilet water and bits of **** all over the freaking floor. God damn animals, this shouldn't happen in a workplace. :fu:

that is disgusting.

at my old work a customer once wrote on the bathroom wall;

**** YOU "NAME OF OUR STORE"

oh, they wrote it by smearing their **** on the wall to form the letters. 100% true story.

our shop bathroom is smaller than your average portajohn.

A customer managed to **** down one wall, across the back of the toilet, into the middle of the floor and up the other wall.

Yeah, we were grossed out, but most of the conjecture was over how he managed to execute the manouever rather than why he deigned to **** everywhere in the bathroom but the actual pot.

This happens almost daily at my workplace.

Third grade girl drama. If this is a foreshadowing of the teenage years, it's not looking good.

Wait... what?

YES. A million times, yes! They are the scourge of my shadetree mechanic activities. I hate them so very much.

The Torx head is actually a pretty well designed interface. It can take a ton of torque without jumping out like a phillips head and worn down heads won't let the wrench spin through them like allen bolts.

Once you own a set of torx bits, the hatred pretty much disappears (I only have a partial selection of bits and a couple of wrenches/drivers so I am still at about half-hate)

Yeah, yeah, that's what I always hear. But they are nigh-on-impossible to align the torx head precisely so as to not destroy them. I've had to dremel more torx bolts than anything else.

I'd hate being the one to clean this up. People can be so disgusting.

Wait... what?

I have a daughter in third grade, and the amount of extreme drama that goes on over insignificant things between the girls in her class (including her) is literally mind boggling.

X2. I see this every week and all I can think is how much I hate poor people for taking my money and feeding their reprobate children. I really do hate them.

+1 so I just never look at it. It makes me angry.

I guess I've just had the opposite experience.

I've actually broken a torx bit (from some all-in-one screwdriver) trying to fix an office chair...got an L wrench made from better steel and the bolt came right out.

OJFC. I know Mercury's gone retrograde but really? I've got to deal with more BS?

At least the son and wife are getting along. I had serious apprehensions about this week.

My experience has been the same as Harvey's. I know they're fantastic when they're being used by precision instruments, like an assembly machine, but I'm just not able to keep it steady while twisting. It always comes loose or twists out, and I end up having to lean into the bolt I'm trying to get out, which makes it harder to apply as much torque.

I guess I've just had the opposite experience.

I broke one once, but it wasn't my brute force. I was trying to get a head off an engine block, and it was completely seized. We wound up using anything we could find - a breaker bar, an impact wrench, etc. - and it just chewed up the Torx bits. I have to believe we eventually go it off, because we rebuilt the top of the engine, but for the life of me I can't remember how we made it happen.

nice. I ride a NOS Guerciotti with Columbus SP tubing and Chorus 10sp.

Guy often rides past my house on a Guerciotti, nice looking bike.
