I'm running a race tomorrow morning at prospect park.
I'm pissed off because the wife wants to come and watch, but now I have to deal with her waking up and getting ready - when she usually just sleeps in on Saturdays. We basically don't deal with each other in the mornings (because I'll be out of the house before 6am and she's up an hour later). I'm a morning person and she's a hungry moody banshee who takes at least an hour to get ready.
The obvious solution would for her to just ******* drive (or I drive and she takes the bus/subway/30min bike ride if she doesn't want to deal with parking) later and meet up at the finish she'll get to sleep in a bit and more importantly get ready on her own time. But then she'll complain that she wants to go "together".

I have issues with my girlfriend is the mornings as well. During the week it is not an issue because she gets up hours after I leave, but on a weekend she takes so long to get ready, and she always has to eat before we do anything so all of this time is wasted. For myself I am never hungry in the morning and I just get up and get out. When I know she has off on a weekend I find the whole morning process daunting. She gives me mild **** because she loves cooking breakfast, but I never want to eat in the morning and I don't like putting up with a whole cooking breakfast process and cleaning and such. I just want to leave my damn place and be out.

Remember Adam's apple means keep dick in pants.
wink.gif

Someone was telling me they either have hormone therapy or some surgery and adams apple's are rapidly disappearing from the ones with external plumbing. Always check waist/shoulder ratio, ring and pointer fingers (on a girl pointer should be longer) and the width across the foot (the ball of women's feet are almost always narrower in proportion).

WTF I leave the house at 730-8 almost all days, she sleeps til 1-2pm we both go to bed at the same time and she's always bitching she's too tired.
Its also impossible to find a time she needs to get up where we'll actually leave the house on time. If I say we need to leave by 9am for whatever, no later (when we could leave at 930 and still get there on time) guaranteed she'll wake up at six and still not be ready at ten.
I can't really eat for about 2 hours after I wake up either. Makes me physically sick, usually, she stopped pushing me on that. I did figure out out PBJs are less disgusting for some reason, and you can eat trail mix without getting the "I'm gonna hurl" feeling. At least for me. So I do eat breakfast when I can force myself to choke it down now.

Jesus man, are you ever hungry?

I know how he feels. I get mentally hungry, not physically hungry, 90% of the time. Like, someone will start talking about food and I'll think "that sounds good" or "I should probably eat something".
At some point in the last few years I stopped getting physically hungry, and its happened more than once that I'll go like a day and a half, even two days, without eating anything and just not realize it til after the fact because I never got hungry.

^ I don't eat breakfast either. I love breakfast and brunch and even cooking it, but its just more efficient if you know how to function without it. Breakfast and brunch is a treat for me.

I'm not a super peppy/happy morning person. I can just get up at 4:30-5:30 and function normally. Its out of habit. I realize that people don't function well in the mornings and I don't fault people for being dicks during morning driving/commuting/interactions. Being normal in the mornings doesn't equate to being an annoying ****.

So the lesson is..... don't get married.

being married (and somewhat bored) is awesome. I'm sure kids are awesome too. There's just a lot more stuff to actually be pissed off about.

Mechanic said two hours. It has now been four.

I've also gone through two and a half of my three litres of tea already. I better have time to go back by the house so I can work out, shower, and brew at least another three litres or I'll never make it til I'm off at 1am...

WHAT THE ******* ASSBALLS THAT WAS ALMOST NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS

DID THEY REPLACE EVERYTHING WITH GOLD PLATED BENTLEY PARTS? WHAT THE HELL!

what's the equation for when its time to get a new car? I'm pretty sure I've spent more on repairs than the bluebook value in the last 12 months if that's relevant.
