No, I am loyal. I like my gf, and care about her feelings so I wouldn't cheat because of that and also because my word is my bond and all that, cheating would be letting myself down too.
Not going to cheat, and 99% of the time I don't care, but occasionally after a few drinks I catch a glance I sort of wish I could follow up on. Meh, the gf is more important than a random hookup.

You just have to plough through it, had a presentation due this morning that I did last minute, horribly quickly, by the numbers last night, and actually it all came of fine. A 'competent' job nearly always seems to do as well as something you actually get invested in. Although there was a ridiculous countdown machine to check your timing, you press start and then it counts down with large LED numbers till you run out of time for your presentation and flashes lights at you - it was deeply retarded and quite distracting after ~ 3 hours sleep.

I started to actually write about 4.5 hours ago. I've written 4.5 pages in that time, which isn't a horrible pace. It puts me a third of the way through. My sourcing is terrible though. I'm writing mainly from memory, but I know that most of it is being sourced from one book, which is very bad scholarship. I feel guilty cause it's for the best prof i've ever had, but I'm just totally burned out. Maybe once I am done I can go through the journal articles to insert tidbits here and there and make it less obvious that I'm relying so heavily on one source. I just got sick of reading though, and a lot of the articles i printed that I thought might be good provided very little useable info. I am really sleepy though. I shouldn't have eaten that big meal.

Thanks guys. I should get out more, but I have.... a lot on my plate. There's this friend of a friend I keep hearing about so maybe I will. I just wonder if it's incredibly stupid timing, what with going away to school and whatnot. I tend to get committed, not a quick roll in the hay sort of guy.

Pio, I'm on it, thanks. Spoke with the Dean today. For them, my qualifications are very high. I will put that loan on autopay -- I had to keep that one off because they will not appropriately account for extra principal payments via autopay!!!!!!!! That really ticks me off. They will just push my next payment ahead if I pay more that was. I have to specify each time that yes, I'm not a moron, and yes, I want to pay down my principal. But now I'm paying minimums and banking the remainder since I'm gonna need it. ~ H

Aggravation at the office: doing a huge amount of desperately-needed work for my department, only to be told by the next level higher up (who do not understand what we do) that it's worth nothing at all and counts for zip in my performance evaluation.

My dog cut his paw during our walk last night. Not a deep cut, but bothersome nonetheless.

I feel for you. my CEO, my bosses boss, has no understanding of what I do and it can create a huge amount of frustration for me.

I need to get my wisdom teeth out in the near future. Consulations for the surgery are only held on the two days during which I work. And I haven't even started the job yet! How do you tell a brand-new boss that you need to come in late, especially when you just started the job? I'll feel like an asshole if I have to do that.

don't worry, he's going to think that you are an asshole, anyway.

It's a she, and yes, probably. The last person to hold my position would simply not show up to work. I think I can manage at least that much.

Do many people feel their boss or their boss's boss have no idea what they do?
