Well Dougie, all you have to do is not break the law. Hopefully that isn't too hard for you.
I don't know why this bothers me so much but its like the only thing I really want to learn to do well/spend my time doing is bonsai and gardening. WTF is wrong with me?
**** fuckity **** **** **** ******* aftershave ******* spilled all ******* over my ******* balls IT BURNS
The FOP. What a bunch of *****.
So they call me last night looking for their donation; I told them if they mailed me some stuff I would take a look at it. I've always felt it was sort of a ******* bribe - support their little club, get your sticker, hope to get out of trouble on your next violation. Anyways, I'm usually not averse to taking a look at information but I want to know more about an organization before just saying "yes."
So then they start asking if they send this out can they count on me for a minimum $15 donation. I said, "I'll take it into consideration." Well, when we send out your donor packet, thank you letter, and *ahem* supporter sticker, we need to be able to count on your support for a minimum $15 donation. I said again, "I'll take it into consideration." Back and ******* forth we go. I'm starting to get cheesed off. Should have hung up, but didn't.
Anyways, I finally say "Yes, it's likely I will send it in."
So then the guy says "great, let me transfer you to someone who will get your full contact information."
Next guy starts in. Gets my contact info, then asks if I will consider an additional $2 donation to cover their overhead costs. Guess what I said. "I'll take it into consideration."
Anyways, finally we are about to wrap up, I'm trying to get off the phone, and again this guy wants me to promise I'll send in the donation. I guess they want to mail you once with the sticker instead of twice and since they're letting their precious ******* sticker out the door they'd better get you to swear you'll send in your money.
Finally, as we get off the phone he wants to remind me that this is not a tax-deductible donation because they are not a non-profit.
This is why I wanted to look at your information first, fuckwit.
Anyways, now I'm all pissed. These F***ers are abusing their position of authority to call you at home and use the psychological power of their office to persuade you to, more or less, pay them a soft just-in-case bribe. It's outrageous.
Goddammit.

Happy Valentine's day to us. Goddammit.
sorry thomas
