My local co-op has a big bulk goods section with every grain/seed/legume you could want, and I've been meaning to experiment with some others. Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm finding it easy to stick with my new food budget (I used to buy whatever I fancied which is why I am broke
) by using a simple formula: several meals a week consist of a legume, a grain, and some veggies. Filling, tasty, pretty cheap.
