I am very happy with my dealership. It just so happens I have a friend as one of the mechanics so I get taken care of quite well. Also, it rocks that I can arrive at 7am and be on my way by 7:15 in a nice, clean complimentary loaner. The only drawback is I hate have to drive a "C" class. :(

:violin:

There is nothing wrong with the C-Class... especially if you have to have it for only two days. I can;t recall, but your everyday is a G, no?

I worked in the largest VW shop in the country before college and I would take my hypothetical car there any day...
although if I lived in MN and owned a VW, I would probably still try to form a relationship with one of the service managers...the whole shop was fine but some of them had better teams than others and a little more personal attention couldn't hurt.

training 3 new employees at once is :fu:
i can never win. first they yell at me that i have too many employees and they never tell me to start hiring, and now they are upset with me that im understaffed for the busy season. ******* impossible situation.
why cant they let me hire people 3 weeks before the busy season instead of 3 days, so i can properly get my people ready? :cloud:

Typical bosses...

We have been understaffed for 3 years and we're a massive company...

I showed up at this hotel last night that I've been to about 40 nights in 2011 with a reservation I made last year because I knew I'd be in town.

Okay, they can't find the reservation citing some issue with head office downloading to their local computer and told me initially they're sold out. I said that can't be possible because I did it online *and then* I called some reservation line to get the corporate rate so at least two people have touched the reservation. I finally get it sorted out and go up stairs to unpack. I thought I'd ring for room service - the wait is 45 minutes. Okay, 1 hour later, I ring the front desk, they send someone up because my phone doesn't ring - good to know! Someone personally takes my order and I wait another hour. By this time it's close to 11:30pm and room service shuts down at 11pm so I say I'm going to bed. I'm pretty sure someone was trying to deliver something at 12am but I just went back to bed.

I get an invoice in the morning saying I'm checking out today. I go back to the front desk with the same bloke who was complaining about the reservation mishap I had yesterday and he tells me he's sold out. Finally I convince I was the person who chewed up 30 minutes of a front desk time yesterday and he said (lied?) last night that I stay here often, I'm a good customer and he wants to make it a second home, and he gives me the room back for my original reservation time. He tells me go have breakfast and he'll fix it. Or at least I hope he does, otherwise my kit ends up being on the street.

I get to the office at 7am and go out and get a cup of tea so I can forget this nightmare and a bloody roach crawls out into the hallway. Roaches? In January?

always print out your reservations. Get to the hotel and they "can't find it"? That's cool, here you go.

Wait, you still have the C? I thought your car was fixed by now.

I worked at a dealership back in the day in the repair bay. Everybody was drunk or on coke all the time. They are truly incompetent and should not be trusted with your automobile.

Trust my dad with your automobile. He has fired two people this year for being on drugs. Two previous people that worked for him was on drugs and committed suicide. I told a few of his new guys that statistics are against them.
