Really annoying to jerk you around like that (and hopefully it doesn't reflect on what working there will be like)....but I guess that's just how some places are.
We spoke briefly about salary earlier, and I'll probably mention it when I call back, but right now it's pretty abstract. The idea was really just to be sure we're thinking the same ballpark before we move forward.
It is kind of annoying, but I'm not thinking that they're jerking me around. I think it's just their process. This is a job where people tend to come in and move up relatively quickly, so I guess they're just really picky about who they hire. If the idea is to develop talent, I guess you're going to be more meticulous, but it does seem like they could have decided after an interview and a presentation.

Heh. That was appealing the first couple of interviews, but now I'm struggling to come up with reasons to be off. It starts to look really weird when you need "personal" time off every other week, and I have to keep in my that I don't have the new job yet.
