There's a p90x thread on here somewhere. It is pretty good for what it is.
I did most of a run through (broke my hand somewhere in the 3rd segment and thus couldn't finish) and I took photos before as well as after the first and second segments...there were very noticeable improvements.
I wasn't following the diet plan (although I don't eat terribly) and I was using a cheap set of resistance bands. Was doing the higher rep sets, since I wasn't looking to add bulk...the low rep version might require actual weights. Once you get in the habit of it, it gets easier to stick with. And if you use the google docs spreadsheet to track it, you will really not want to have a big gaping hole in your records which will push you to make up any workout you miss.
