Man that is the definition of a shittay week. Hope the weekend is a big improvement.
This reminds me of the last conversation I had with my grandmother before Alzheimer's claimed her. I read your post a while back about wanting a quick death sooner rather than later and I couldn't agree more. At some point the person that you knew your whole life is gone and what is left behind is a shell of a human being. It sounds like you're close to that point now and I don't envy your position. I wish you the best of luck.
In all seriousness, does somebody have power of attorney over her? I had an uncle who was making some shady moves and I encouraged my mom to petition for PoA over her mother before he could wreak too much damage.
To cap off a wonderful past three days (wednesday ripped pants ********** crack region, yesterday car accident and parking ticket), I left my house/car/office keys in my apartment and forgot to check my pockets before shutting the front door that self-locks Going to have to break into my apartment tonight

had a conversation with my mom today, took her out for a cup of coffee and we are sitting there talking like adults. so I am thinking how well this is going, and how lucid she is, and then, after about 5 minutes of talking, she asks me a question which shows that she simply didn't get the whole point, or forgot the whole point, of what I was talking to her about. very painful.
