I understand where you guys are coming from on this, and I am apt to agree.

I do think it's wrong to say my work ethic isnt up to par, or that I am a *****...I managed to stay and excel at a job that I disliked for 8 months running, without ******* up at all, save for the last month, month and a half.

All of this while going to night school, getting good grades, and still attempting to maintain a social life.

Add to the fact that I havent done anything rash, and in the back of my mind I know I might be ******* up severely... but I just dont know.

I dont want to look back at my teenage self years from now, and think about what I missed out on

Don't worry, football season is almost here!

But seriously, this sounds super frustrating. Maybe another SF in Athens meetup at Trappeze will help?

I "missed out" on my teenage years. I have a great middle age. you make it as asuccessful lawyer you will be very happy. you end up unemployed or making coffee with a half million in school loans, you won't be happy. good luck with it, it isn't easy, but life isn't easy.

Eh. This is what the real world is like. It would be one thing if it wasn't driving you toward your goal, but seeing as you want to be a lawyer, you'd better get your self in gear. Double up and bust ass. I'm surprised that your uncle has dropped you if it's been an entire month and a half of problems. Quit making excuses and just do it. 40 hour weeks are easy.

My nose has been bleeding for 6 hours straight, I just went to the hospital, took them 2 hours too see me and all they did was give me an ice pack and some tissues and told me to wait 3 more hours to see someone else. I waited 3 more hours and all they do is tell me to pinch my nose and not blow it. I had to wait 5 hours to hear that ****. Its obviously not a normal ******* nose bleed, I've lost enough blood for my legs to go numb, my hearings gone and its coming out of my throat too.

A top of the line Chrysler is like a top of the line pack of ramen.

MarkI, when you talk about your work ethic being up to par...where are you setting 'par'? Consider that question very carefully before you make any sort of decision, because 'par' varies with your environment, and - more pointedly - your competition. Your classmates and your co-workers are your competition now, and if you continue into law then your competition will be opposing counsel (trial or otherwise). If you misjudge the amount of effort that is entailed in your 'work ethic' then you're likely to get your tail handed to you over and over again. Long story short: develop the habits now, make it easier on yourself later. And for heaven's sake - you're still YOUNG. Burn the candle at both ends, already.

Marketers.

Just got a memo from someone who works in our marketing department that had 3 different font colors, bolded, underlined, and italicized font (in various combinations), and 4 different highlighter colors. This was an 8 sentance email.

******* marsupialed.

Wow, a whole 8 months (minus 1.5 months). Oh to be so young that this is considered a long stretch of time.
