My mother threw my camera away, last week she threw my envelope with $600 away. It wasn't exactly a cheap camera either, because she's decided she's a minimalist she constantly goes threw everyones stuff and throws it away. Not even an apology either.

The show im watching has pissed me off even more now. Its called if you ever knew me and its about kids in some highschool in west virginia crying and saying how depressed they are and theres this girl complaining that she knows too much about drugs for her age, which is why she snorted m&ms once. If she knew so much about drugs why would she snort chocolates.

Update on the Jackass front: MrsG's mom (my MIL) called Monday to get an update on how the weekend went. It seems that Sister 2 told her some of the stories, and MIL called MrsG to corroborate/get more information. MIL is not happy, and, some time in the near future, it seems she will sitting down with Sister 1 to address Jackass's behavior.

I'm crossing my fingers that this will be the beginning of the end for Jackass.

It's definitely one of those situations where I know it's funny to everyone who didn't have to deal with it, which is part of the reason I was willing to tell the stories.

MrsG's sister isn't exactly a supermodel, and being a single mom doesn't help her prospects, but I know she can do better than this guy. My worry is that she may think he's the best she can do, leading her to stay with him. I'm hoping that MIL's talk will help her realize it might be time to move on.

That sucks. But look on the bright side: You're now a big enough baller that you drive a car with $600 tires!

Attention front desk lady: When your doctor gives you antibiotics and says you'll be contagious for another 24 hours, he does not actually mean 18 hours, nor is he endorsing your return to work less than 24 hours later. The fact that you "took two from the Z-Pack yesterday and another one this morning" does not mean you're miraculously going to stop being contagious earlier than the doctor told you you would be. It means you're following the directions that would result in you no longer being contagious after 24 hours.

I was supposed to get a check for some back pay today (a pretty substantial amount). I go to our payroll person (who sucks) and was like hey, would it be possible to get a check today for my stuff (she's known to give me a check since last week).

"No".

No explanation, no acknowledgment of the fact that, I asked for a check and you were supposed to write me one. And the way she said it was like "**** off". Oh well, I guess I don't need to pay things like rent or health and car insurance on time. And really, we can all go three days with literally, zero dollars after planning to have been paid.

Hopefully it will be added to Friday's paycheck. OH AND MY PAY FROM THE LAST PAY CYCLE WAS FUCKED UP BECAUSE THEY NEVER PUT IN ALL MY TRAVEL OR PTO SO I WAS PAID ABOUT 40% OF WHAT I SHOULD HAVE BEEN.

Man, EOQ pressures and new computer implementation balled up into a perfect storm this week, leading to me camping out at our CPA's office (home) today to review his work, make corrections, and sign off on it - three months of FS info, due today.

So I head to his house this morning (a 30 minute drive) and forget which exit I take off the tollway, have to take the next exit a couple of miles down the road and turn back. This is the first trip - I show up, no one home. **** all that. I leave him a couple of vmails and head back to the office. I just stepped in the door, briefed the chariman, and the CPA calls. I head out again.

This time I remember the exit, but this tan hoopty sedan looking thing is blocking me, and I can't get into the exit lane. Some precious little (and when I say little I mean ******* XL) lady resembling Metro's avatar is on her phone and won't get out of my way to let me off. I show her the bird, and not just a small bird: I push it out there, practically to the passenger's window, mouthing obscenities all the while. Fortunately, by the time she sees me and manages to respond, she's off the toolway. (Toolway = tollway + thomas, but I digress).

So I missed my exit again, and this time missed one more just to be sure I didn't meet up with Precious on the feeder road.

After over two months of dealing with my BS home warranty company and going through two installation companies, I finally got a new A/C unit installed at my place in early June. Wake up this past Saturday, three weeks later, and the thing won't turn on. Took me until today to get them to call me back. 87 degrees in here right now.

Should be grateful I guess; only had the warranty because the place was on the market, otherwise would be out ~$6k.

The first week of recovery was Tue. Everything was fine, tons of pain but no infections or popped stitches. Then, I wake up this morning and the inside of my leg is swollen and red. Very warm to the touch. I go into the Dr.'s for my daily bandage change and say "this seems off to me". The response: "Let me get the Dr."

Now the leg is getting ever more red, firm, swollen, and painful. I feel like I have a kid sitting on my leg. I know how this happened too. The soft head woman who was doing my bandages Monday put in a ton of gauze and didn't tape up the opposing sides of the wound. I woke up in the middle of the night Tue and was scratching at it like crazy. FuckFuckFuck. Also, on a "kick me while I'm down note", I lost my insurance on Monday. Awesome timing. Thank god for Publix and their free antibiotics. Hopefully, the free Keflex will work because the other stronger antibiotic, Augmentin, is very expensive.
