@ El Argentino: here's a thread for you which may help to demystify the process for you, http://www.styleforum.net/forum/thread/128749/if-i-hate-law-school-will-i-hate-lawyering
. And that's an interesting read, Stazy - a good point and well made, though sorry to hear about your registration woes. Amazing how quickly the system can "find" a student who owes library fees or something in an instant but, when it comes to classes clearly offered, that same system plays "dumb" as if it doesn't know what's going on, isn't it?
@ Neo: parents paying for it? LOL, LOL, LOL (oh, so true my friend, so true!). And congrats once again on finishing up--med school like law school is a seriously LONG HAUL, the completion of which is a serious accomplishment in and of itself. ENJOY. Until the paying complaining patients come, that is; nope, never stop learning, this is true. And why they call it "practice" I guess
LOL @ Race-Walking. Hey, someone should try that in Paris or Montreal---seriously, when pedestrians get a call, which is of course all the time, they just stop on the spot to answer their cell phones, making side-walks a bit of a mine-field to navigate in turn. Betcha it would make for a very interesting sport -- and fun to see; kinda like bikes navigating the streets. Wonder though, would penalty kicks in such a sport be allowed? .... (seriously kidding, and walk on, walk on!
