I don't understand this. It must be a generational thing, because even in my infallible teen years I never thought I could go without a shower.

I love showering. I learned at an early age how important conditioner and moisturizing body wash is for a child.

See, this is how I know that I'm out of phase with modern life. I never even thought about taking pictures, just wanted to get it cleaned up. Part of that was the horrific smell, I'm sure.

lolz, in case of non painful disaster, the firs thing i think now, is to take a pic.

Have a 10pm flight scheduled today, up to Boston. Delay at least 1:40, now leaving ~midnight and getting there around 2am. LAME.

My flight out on Sunday morning is at 5:30am. This is just going to be my weekend for absurd middle of the night flights.

Douglas, that type of humour is unbecoming of a mod.

Going to see batman at 11pm. Didn't realize it was reserved seating and it looks like people booked way in advance. Seated in 3rd row. Probably too close but all the seats between now and when I go to Ottawa suck and then I'd have to wait until aug 15th =/

Yeah which one Lynx? Or some other form of chemical warfare waged on poor unsuspecting parents? And then the showering twice a day is blowing out electricity and water bills right out the window.

**** teen spirit.:slayer:

I was jogging the puppy and was trying to hurry up before the storm hit. It was grey and clouds were swirling and then the gusts of wind picked up.

I'm embarrased to say that a strong gust of wind knocked ****** down :fu: as well as my puppy...

I've been in hurricanes/typhoons and gale force winds and never fell over but a stupid normal gust of wind knocked me down tonight. It was embarrassing because this old lady jogger helped me up... lol...

in fairness it was because I was on a small walkway in between two warehouse buildings and the gust of wind swirled up dust/dirt/leaves/sticks/ect right into our faces and I tried to keep on stupidly jogging and then fell.

The best part was having to back track down the alley to get the puppy's poop bag. Thankfully it was intact.

I got stung in the face by a yellow jacket. First wasp or bee sting I've had in almost 25 years. It actually doesn't hurt that bad but I can tell it's going to be swollen tomorrow.

Wife put in notice maybe 2 weeks ago for an end date at her job (mid august), inasmuch as we're relocating for school.

She found out today they're letting her go 3 weeks early. Was counting on that pay to help us in the move.

apparently I was ignorant that the winds/storm last night was some sort of mega storm complex referred to as a "Derecho". the same kind of derecho that knocked out Stich's electricity/sanity/internet usage for a extended period of time.

i'm still embarrassed to have fallen down and my puppy being blown down too. also i'm embarrassed to have been stupidly walking the dog during the start of such an obviously strong storm brewing above (the grey skies and swirling clouds should of been a clue). Also an elderly woman helped me up... i'm happy for the help but embarrassed none the less.

damn sorry to hear this, but at least you are not allergic. My sister-in-law, allergic to bee's, was bit in Guatemala and everyone thought she was going to die.

:/ Does she get a leaving package of some sort? What about unemployment? (I am not sure how either of these work since I am still in school)

hey but at least you are okay.

I almost fractured a few ribs in middle school showing off my vertical. Pre-game warm-up, I try to dunk over a friend and end up landing on the bleachers. :cloud:
