Wingtips, what brand?

These are my favorite wingtips, but they are very casual shoes and probably not appropriate for work at a bank.

only in the U.S.

Wingtips are inherently casual shoes by virtue of their broguing, so for work at a bank, I would look for a sleek, balmoral wingitp, since bals are more formal than bluchers. You might also like an austerity brogue (no punching, just stitching in the wingtip design;

i cannot read this da.n line again and again. clueless. it's depending on your cultural environment and demography and not even then it's a fixed rule.

As a general rule, the more broguing, the more casual the shoes).

applies to both styles. blucher and bal.

Where does one buy Meermin shoes from?

They're a brand I've not heard much about and I'd like to do some delving into their stuff but can't seem to find any online stockists, any ideas?

EDIT: From what I can find, apparently they are going to open a webstore soon - looking forward to that.

That is nonsensical. Price does not matter? Since when does price not matter? Facebook has tons of money, they should have paid 10 billion for instagram. Who cares about price right................... ?Seriously, I can't even imagine you make any money, not a single person I know that makes over a million a year thinks like that.

You don't know anyone who earns that sum and the average on here is pitiful. Clothes are cheap in the general scheme of things and they depreciate as soon as you put them on.It doesn't even particularly matter what you pay because they are cheap.It's doesn't matter if you pay $300 or $700 for a shoe because the price difference is minimal. Same with shirts, consider them disposible. We're not talking about a $5m house or a $150k car here. Someone buying an expensive property would think about it but if you have to think about the price of clothes then you're spending above your class. I suggest never spending any more then 1% of income for clothes, say $20k a yr. Max
