Just grabbed the W&H Heather Grey Large Loop hoodie...too bad Charcoal wasn't available in my size...thx.

So I just received an email from Roden saying thanks but no thanks, your items are not in stock...

Why make them available on your website, taking me through the entire order process...then tell me the next day you dont have them?

Over reacting? Maybe, but jeez I was looking forward to those Aldens, and the jacket was at a great price.

I hope for the sake of your wider customer base you dont make this a common occurence.

Happens quite often.. especially when codes are released.. sale items fly off the shelves.

Sorry that happened to you. About 98% of our orders are in-stock, but occasionally something like this happens and when it does we don't like it any more than the customer. While we're always working on improving our in-store/online inventory tracking, sometimes an item becomes unlinked and appears available online when it is out of stock in-store. We're working with our software developer to reduce instances of this, but it's something that we occasionally have to live with at this point. This is why we only pre-authorize credit cards/paypal accounts when an order is placed as we have to physically secure inventory for each order before we charge your account. I'm sorry we didn't get back to you about the items being out of stock sooner.
