Is it just me or are Allen Edmonds uncomfortable? - Page 3

I bought two pair from them and returned both of them.  I took them home and then stood for about 20 minutes.  If my feet were hurting then they went back.  Tried the 12.5 strand and 12 black hills.  Also tried on almost every other last in the store - they seemed to run narrow in the pinky toe area for me.  I need a stretch and they weren't giving any.

I find their cordovan shoes uncomfortable. They are always wearing at my heels. I have had better luck with their calfskin offerings.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but wanted to help out anyone suffering from this again. I can wear my Park's for a long time now. I realized that you CANNOT place orthotics into the shoe unless they mold to the inside. I don't place orthotics into my shoes anymore and it solved my issue when i stopped. It already has a built in arch because of the shank and can be worn as such. I realized the stiff underside of the Superfeet ones were just making it painful. I can only wear the last of the Park's or 5th's for 2/3 a day though, as any shoes, tennis or not make my soles weary after a while.

Don't use orthotics, and try on all the shoes. It helps tremendously.
