just read this interview on sportswear international.

I was incorrect fgf industry actually own ten c, I thought they just manufactured and distributed.

also pungetti and harvey have already started as creative directors for c.p. company working on a/w 2013/14 since november last year.

But if you look at Ten C's website you'll notice that it isn't updated. For instance it doesn't show the new liners. No idea if they're sloppy or just don't bother updating it because they're winding it down.

ten c haven't updated the site once since they first launched if memory serves me correctly.

not updating their site is down to their ethos of 'no marketing or promoting' of their brand but some will say that they're just being lazy and can't be arsed, just like how they never respond to emails.

why put an email address for customers to communicate with them if they have no intention of replying is baffling.

"The duo also designs for TEN C, another FGF- owned brand."

Sounds as though TEN C is carrying on. Also note the M65 jackets with some wear in them (and note how they don't wear the jackets skin-tight! I wish the snow smock had the length f the M65 -- better proportioned, I think. But I fell in love with the hood and slanted chest pockets):

Anyone got the anorak? Looks tempting but I'm unsure about the fit (looks boxy) and length (looks really short)

radicaldog that's how my field fits but not quite as slouchy, I was in between sizes so I went a little bigger because of the liner and I'm loving the fit.

pungetti is wearing the field, harvey is sporting the dress jacket.

they look similar but the dress jacket has buttons instead button snaps and a different collar for example.

karmaguy as ten c are based on past items from the military the fit will be a little boxy

looking at this photo from a customer on union los angles' blog it doesn't look too boxy.

it might also depend on your build;

guessing that as he's a model for 14oz-berlin he'll have a slight frame.

where did you see the anorak? I'm looking for a parka although I shouldn't as I don't think my wallet can handle another big hit.

They did actually update it at least two times - they added the list of the stores, and they added the showroom address afterwards. But no, nothing essential was added to the site, not even the Hunter jacket that is completely *new* model (8th).

They initially do not respond to emails, tho they were helpful over the phone, after which I was contacted on email. Anyway, I like their 'no marketing or promoting' policy, just hope they will stay low key, they'll keep the quality, sizing and material.

AFAIK, Ten C is only distributed by FGF, I think it's just a mistake from online sources who cite the Ten C as FGF owned brand.

Neither of the pieces I tried was 'too boxy', tho the material is very hard so it's better to try it on prior to buying.

EDIT: Double breasted peacoat was also not listed on the website...

I stand corrected ;)

as I originally thought fgf only distributes and manufactures through their partner pespow but it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility that fgf hold a stake in ten c probably why the confusion.

I'm too a fan of their non marketing stance nevertheless their website does need an update, just hope they keep the videos especially the one on harvey talking about his grandma's wooden spoon ;)

on another note my snow smock arrived earlier today, I was stoked then I tried it on ... it's touch too tight for me

I may keep it as intend to lose a little weight but I may have to face reality and sell it on.

As we are waiting for some news regarding the status of TEN C, has anybody seen this?

The price is around 370 EUR, I saw this just a couple of minutes ago. It says that it's the same composition as jackets.

Me neither. I must say that the drawstring closure rather defeats the purpose of the waterproof material, unless there is some trick inside.

that's interesting, first I've seen of it too.

I'm sure it's replicating a particular rucksack but the closure is a little odd. I though there would be a flap over the top especially like you say it won't keep your contents dry, maybe a inner bag?

also seems strange that they've been discounted already, possible sample pieces maybe?
