I can say that the most psychologically dampening part of getting dressed in the morning is when I'm out of clean undershirts. I feel hopeless. Doomed to be locked into crappy free t-shirts for the rest of the day, with no help of gracing my skin with a Troglodyte Homonculus or an April 77. On my floor is sprawled many dirty undershirts of lucky days past.

It's a cruel world.

Socks, every morning its the same thing, I spend half my time dressing looking for matching socks. I'm slowly replacing all of my socks with dark grey Uniqlo socks, I think this might make things a bit easier, I dunno, we'll see.

Realizing that you've wasted another day of your life on pointless frivolities, one step closer to the end and still nothing worth mentioning. The steadily-growing force of the knowledge that your kindergarten teacher was bullshitting you, that you are not unique and special and one-of-a-kind, and that shortly after you've disappeared forever, just like the vast majority of the rest of the people on the planet, you will leave no trace. The slight panic, quickly squelched, as you admit to yourself that most of your day is just an attempt to forget all this. Realizing that if you don't somehow pull this off, all anyone's going to be talking about is "God, how the hell did the Bears get to the Superbowl with that fucknut quarterback?"

(Or so I assume.)

The phrase "coyote ugly" comes from an urban slang term for a situation that results in waking up next to an ugly bedmate after a night of drinking; in such a situation one might prefer to chew off one's own arm, like a coyote with its paw in a trap, rather than wake up the bedmate.

I'm more interested in knowing what's the biggest upper when you get down.

The fact that it's 5 am and I'm going to spend the day performing a mindless, low-paying, and unbelievably repetitive job in which I must pretend to like Juicy Coture track suits.

Not really, once you've experienced your favorite pair of jeans while freeballing. It's magical.
