Claghorn's on the money, though I like the plain olive/brown colours in the second picture, bottom of the right row.

Yeah pink is just not a colour that sells in Australia and my client base is still about 95% from oz but I can see the purple/plum above it working quite well.

Oli I'm with you on the olives/browns.

I think the pink linen would look fantastic, but whether it'll sell, that's an entirely different matter.

And that's the thing mate, when your a business the size of mine risks have to be calculated a bit more. I'd do it if I could do 1 or 2 of each design but I have to do 8 minimum of everything so I really need to curate a lot more than the likes of bigger companies.

Also guys as a heads up, I'm on leave all week this week from the ol' 9-5 and we will be heading to Jindabyne on Wednesday for the rest of the week for some R & R, fly fishing and plenty of sitting in front of fires drinking wine.

So, any orders placed after 8pm Tuesday night won't be despatched until the following Monday, before then will be despatched Wednesday morning before we leave.

As we focus more on 7 folds with our Grenadines, we are clearing out the 3 fold versions to make way for new stock in the coming season. Now $30.00 off and reduced down to $49.95 are the black and navy versions, classics in anyone's book. Stock is limited so get in quick -

The Grenadines are a fina weave?

I think they are an even finer weave than the fina.

HC, is the fabric sourced from the Bianchi or Fossati mill? Or did another mill start producing grenadine fabric? The latter would be pretty cool, come to think of it.

That's right they are a finer weave than the fina, I've actually not seen the weave with any other makers so made my own name up for it, the bambino. I've used the bigger weaves in the past and not been happy with the durability, with too many pulls in the fabric and too much stretch, particularly for un-tipped versions.

To be honest, I don't know what mill they come from my tie makers source all of the fabrics and give me a huge selection to choose from, about 4-500 per season which I then curate down to about 30-40, get swatches and then curate down again to my collection. I've never felt the need to ask what silks come from what mills because they use a heap of different ones and they've been making ties since 1968, so I trust their judgement on quality completely which is important to have in a supplier.

Just received some ties and squares off HC; I was impressed by the quality of the items, the prompt shipping, and by Jason's service - he dealt with all my requests, and even gave me the further reduced price on one of the ties even though it wasn't listed as such at the time of purchase. I am now eagerly awaiting the arrival of my second order - thank you, Jason, for making my first online shopping experience in apparel a happy one.

HC, I saw somewhere that you may be carrying pants soon?

HC needs more sock options! Wool blends would be great! hehe
