Jason, will you be looking at doing some more shirts down the line?

I'd definitely put down for a white and pale blue in a medium spread collar.

Short answer is no, sadly. Combo of too much online MTM competition and it being too hard to please everyone with sleeve lengths etc. Trousers are a lot easier coming unfinished and there is a much wider gap in the market for them, both here on SF and online in general so my efforts will be concentrated there (and on ties of course) for next season.

A white shirt with grey, herringbone weave tweed and dark tie is an absolutely classic look (in my opinion!).

I think it looks okay, but some are very adamant against it

I think it works in this context. Being button down definitely helps and the tie has a very 'trad" feel to it. Light blue would probably have worked a bit better, but still...

Any plan on carrying pointed knits? I really feel the need to purchase something from you at some point (especially as you're the only AV that regularly posts fit pics). Also, how does the Bambino weave compare to Hober's fina?

Henry Carter, really terrific stuff.

Would you mind telling me the make of the jackets in the last few picks?

The last two (the PoW check and the grey herringbone weave) are from an Australian menswear business called Herringbone Sydney. I've got the same ones, so I know where they're from!

At this stage no plans on pointed knits, with HY & KW doing them already, plus my personal preference for flat bottoms they are going to stay straight for the time being. Next time I'm ordering I'll check and see if I can do some of each, but if I have to do a full minimum run (8 of each colour) then that'd be a bit much.

Re the bambino grenadine, I'd say they are the smallest of all the grenadine weaves I've seen, including the fina (but very similar). The overall look is more formal, with the added bonus of being pretty well snag proof, unlike a lot of the bigger weaves.

Thanks for the kind words, yep Journeyman is correct they are both Herringbone Sydney and the DB above that is Aquascutum. I'm lucky enough to be the same size as a standard mannequin (40R/L) so anything you see posted is all mine that you'll also see pop up in WAYWRN.

FWIW, although I tend to wear blue shirts 90% of the time also, I have nothing against white shirts and as clags pointed out, a white OCBD is very classic in Ivy League circles. This particular one is a Kamakura, which I've fallen for big time with the great fit and collar roll.

Cheers
Jason
