I put together a few looks this afternoon to a) give everyone an idea of how they knot with a four in hand (nice dimple as you can see) and b) give a few ideas of what to wear them with as well.

A reminder that the orange is now sold out and only 1 navy w/ white dots remains.

Loving the looks and thank you for the ideas. I would definitely add a pocket square too ( but know that is a personally preference thing). By god, does that orange look good. Roll on summer (in typical Melbourne style we are getting about a day a week at the moment).

Due to the popularity of the knit ties we are expanding the range asap and will have some more coming in before xmas.

We are re-stocking the orange knit tie HERE and taking pre-orders for it now. Please either PM me or email jason@henrycarter.com.au if you are interested.

We will also be adding the following
Plain -
Black
Purple
Olive green/khaki
Dots -
Navy with yellow dots
Red with Navy dots

I'll put some images up later of what the likely colours of these new ones will be. All will be $69.95 AUD as per the current range

Here's a rough idea of the new colours we'll be getting pre-xmas

Black

Purple

Navy w/ yellow dots

Red w/ navy dots

Olive/Khaki

We will also hopefully be getting samples of pure cashmere knits for next Australian A/W (March delivery). Cashmere samples should be in grey, navy and dark forest green.

They are here, came with the knit ties. I've just been so busy with the knits once they arrived I haven't had a chance to do the photos, edit and get them up on the site yet. They'll go up over the weekend though.

For all the Bow-tie lovers out there, our first drop of self tie bows is now live on the site. All hand made in Naples by the same family run company that makes our 7 folds and classic ties. All $65.00 AUD.

As this is a bit of a test to see if I expand the range of them, stock is extremely limited, like 2-3 of each one.

Those bow ties and Knit ties seems great!

Not appropriate for the general stylistic taste for my current location though.

Knits are usually only casual, am I right?

And Bump it up for you

I suppose that it depends where you live and work. However, I think that a black silk knit tie looks fantastic with a white shirt and a grey or charcoal suit. A knit tie also look excellent with a navy blazer/jacket and grey odd trousers.

Too true JM, I'm really looking forward to the plain black knit to arrive, if only so I can take one for myself to wear with grey/charcoal suits & coats.

@kelwatches, if you check out the website you'll find that while I've been expanding in to other products like bow-ties and knit ties, they are all secondary lines to the bread and butter of the company, which is hand made classic and 7 fold ties and that will continue to be the case for a long while yet. Thanks for the compliments though.

Cheers

I agree on the plain black knit. I think with formal outfits it can look very dapper indeed smile.gif
