Thanks for the comparison shots Gerry and Jas, definitely no double up there.  Are you gents just doing four in hand for when wearing the zigzags or is there a different knot that is preferable for them?

I usually tie a four in hand for most ties including knits and occasionally a double four in hand.

No worries glad you enjoyed it. I only ever do a single four in hand, but then im tall and don't need to take up extra length by doing a double.

Frighteningly, I saw what appeared to be a triple FIH in the window of MJ Bale today...

+1. I do a four-in-hand for knit ties and wool ties, and a double-four-in-hand for printed silk ties.

Good to hear it finaly arrived, took a lot longer than expected though. We better look at a different way of posting to Mexico for next time I think.

It was curious cause supposedly they came to leave it but last time the left the package with the security guards and no problem. Don't know why this time was different, I had to pick it up. If i didn't noticed the notification by them, in 3 days they were going to return it. :crazy:
