I just stated it, I never said you mentioned it. Trust me, they won't fit... Doesn't matter how hard you try. After 3 hours or after 3 weeks, they won't fit. Accept it. Sell and size up, or try to get an exchange from Gordon if possible.

They're coming along nicely:

I don't think I've reached more than 5 hours of actual wear time yet. Just about got the third button.

Still looks like it's too tight if you ask me.  Why only 5 hours of wear?  You've had these for three days already.  That would seem to imply that they're horribly uncomfortable.  Granted, unwashed denim tends to be a little stiff in the beginning, but you should be able to wear them for extended periods of time without too much discomfort.

Ah, well.  Seems like you're pretty much set on seeing it through.  Best of luck, hope they don't rip too badly on you.  Cause...they will.

They aren't uncomfortable but I don't wear them to work, I only wear them when I'm home and not exercising. I'm going to start wearing them on the weekends at work since it's pretty empty then and they'll stretch much quicker that way. It's pretty hard to tell it's not fully buttoned if I have a belt on which I hadn't thought of before until today.

Real question: do you also do this with your pants?

So you've spent more time posting in a thread about these jeans than wearing them?

I was going to say it took a pair to post this embarrassing story, but based on the tight fit of those pants, well...

ME NO SIZE UP!

You look like a sausage stuffed into those things. Please continue with this embarrassing journey though. It brings us much amusement.

Hee - hee. Just saw this thread. Has the OP made the 4th button yet?

I have a pair of N-02's. No way are they going to stretch anything like APC. It's unsanforized 16oz denim.

(As an aside, mine are coming along nicely -- the fabric is thick and tough, but with a soft hand almost like moleskin. But you definitely want these to fit well out of the box -- I've soaked once and washed once, both in cold, and both times the waist shrank like a MF. Stretched back to original size in a few days.)

With the sale going on, I'm considering a pair of N-02s.
For a fit reference, my Somet 005 has a measured waist of 32”. The denim is sanforized and rather robust so the shrink/stretch range is only around ½”.

Do you advise buying the W30 and counting on it to stretch back to 32” after the wash or is buying the W31 the better option? I have same question going to BiG, but Id' also like some owner's opinions.

Hey gong, any evolution/fading pics yet? Also please post your actual measured waist size and which size you went with those n-02's. Pretty interested in getting myself a pair.
