Right now I am using (sorry if I get the names wrong):
main attack: guided shot with the split arrow runey
right click: rapid fire with rune that decreases cost and maybe adds fire damage?
slot 4 and extra mouse button: multishot with cost decrease rune
1: caltrops with 2 second of total freeze rune
2: vault with shoot as you leap rune
3: throwing knives in a circle or something else depending on expected situation (and this is linked to an extra mouse button too)
passives: one that restores hatred with health globes and the one that increases damage 20% when no enemies are within 10 yards.

usually drop some caltrops and vault away from enemies to keep my damage bonus. Then if it is a really big crowd I will drop multishots, otherwise I will rapid fire through them one by one. If stuff gets low, I can vault back and forth through the crowd of enemies and pick up health globes which gives me back my powers (even with the reduced cost rune, multishot drains hatred really fast)

Up to level 28 now - early in Act 3 - starting to get hard. Really like the DH with dual-xbows.

Where do I find the items I have purchased in the AH?

So did all of you buy the digital copy? So lame they won't give guest passes to digital copy holders. Really trying to get my buddy to try this to play with me.

guest pass users can only play with other guest pass users. i have a spare one at home i'll shoot over your way after work.

I do also have two guest passes and one for WoW (up to level 20). Too lazy to sell the d3 passes on ebay, so if anyone wants them, PM! Not sure whether guest passes are regionally restricted, but if they are, these count for EU servers.

ooh, I haven't tried dual xbows yet.

Wonder how it compares to a quiver

IME, quiver with +dex on a one-handed xbow seems to yield the best DPS for me. I have guided arrow/multishot bound to my primary mouse keys, and slower attack speed + higher damage actually works better for multishot because you can't spam it like you could in D2X. I imagine YMMV if you're building her another way.

I have a few guest passes I can send out as well, though I think the "starter version" will be going live on blizzard.com in a few weeks for those that can't get one.

Yeah, not quite sure how it works...I think rapid fire is fairly indifferent to attack speed while multi shot just drains your hatred really fast.

I would think that fast attack speed is helpful for getting off guided arrows though...which generate more hatred. Right now I am using multishot for big crowd control (or dump a full hatred meter through a doorway on a bunch of unaggroed mobs) but my big time damage comes from rapid fire and then enough guided arrows to build up the hatred meter for a little more rapid fire.

I'm also keeping a bat companion for hatred regen at the moment. My current playstyle is very heavily dependent on multishot (except for bosses, when I tend to use chemical burn impales).

I basically lay caltrops everywhere I walk (with the custom engineering passive so they last forever). If I see a pack, I'll multishot them until I need guided arrow to regen hatred. If they're not dead, I'll kite my way back through all the caltrops I've laid behind me and GA/multi them down. If there's a huge pack, I slam F3 and F4 as fast as possible before multishot, which are my Sentry and Rain of Vengeance skills, respectively.

I've only died a few times in NM so far (Butcher, pack of Jailer/Wallers, and an extra fast pack of the invisible snake guys in A2) but I imagine things will be tougher in Hell and I'll have to switch out the bat companion for another defensive skill.
