FUCK vortex. wall can be annoying if you're in over your head, but vortex is so, so, so annoying. hook mechanics are brutal in MOBAs but i never thought it would cause such grief in diablo.
more than i'd like to admit as a monk. im betting a lot of this is due to having my d2 habits in place; you could dive into a massive crowd with little repercussion. this is a lot different and i'm finding myself getting worked up and pissed off at certain encounters.
good to know; i've been getting crap drops so far. whats the typical MF you see on items? the most i've ever seen was 7-8% and the lack of other mods made it useless. it seems like they're doing a lot to prevent godly gear with MF from dominating the game.
mid-act 2 in nightmare is where it starts to get difficult.
the sewers with an arcane waller or a vortex molten mob... will make you want to cry...
i think i've died at least 200 times in act 2. i hadn't died at all in normal or act 1... lol....

this. it doesn't matter who plays what because loot drops are all individual. (ie. person A can't see what loot dropped for person B)... everyone is on a separate loot table.
to be honest, i haven't seen a lot of barbs or wizzies... most of the people i've seen while partying are DH's, Monks, and WD's.
