Have a look at their forums tonight, a LOAD of them got laid down by the lag monster today.

Its pretty funny, most of them take it in stride.

I'd go berserk if I died to a server side problem.

i just uninstalled this game.

it's been almost a month since the game came out... and i don't expect everything to be balanced out in this game but some of the basics should've been patched out ...

i really don't think blizzard has done anything with this game since they tried beta... or they released a beta product... (which isn't blizzard's usual MO)

each class should be viable in either inferno act 2 or 3 without having to be almost maxed out.
i helped a buddy of mine farm his gear and as a barbarian, he has crap DPS, and he pretty much can't do anything. literally, he's just cannon fodder.
his next upgrades are in the $20M range... which is ridiculous for someone just starting act 3.

also, as a demon hunter (i just beat diablo inferno) i'm practically maxed out DPS wise, but if a monster practically stares at me i'll crumble. that's not a problem except in act 4 where those dudes will one shot me from off screen.. (for reference, i'm at around ~120K dps buffed)

Top complaints:
1) impossible monster affixes
really blizzard? you didn't think: teleport, firechain, mortar, plague or horde, arcane, illusionist, jailer was going to be a problem?? you add that to monsters that are already hard to kill (ie. herald of pestilence / soul ripper) and you're going to have a blast.

granted, this is going to change with 1.03, but i don't care how skilled i think your beta testers are... those dudes had to have died at least once or twice trying to kill these things.

2) lag
there's no reason why i would have 454ms in any scenario. you guys stress tested the servers in beta. you have to assume that not EVERYONE is going to download the beta and try to play during the stress test. the stress test should've been the MINIMUM you needed to prepare for an event as large as diablo 3.

3) buggy monster phases
c'mon... azmo's blood pool? that's a retarded glitch that should've been fixed within the first 2-3 weeks.

Dual Mantras with two mystic allys and Tyrael helping funnel champion packs into chokes is great!

Ya forreal. No way I could continue farming solo. Even before the hotfix, I was doing siege with friends, despite the fact that it made the runs longer.

Make your voice heard by posting in the right place? Would be interesting to know what Blizzard says and the community in whole

yj, the game hasn't been out long. certain affixes are horrible but hard as they are, they're beatable, at times.

the trick for vortex is staying at edge of screen, for instance. vortex has a range and if you're outside of it, they can't cast it.

anyway, if you beat it on inferno, not much else to do unless you want to play a different class. i don't see myself playing once i'm done. don't have the time/patience to keep farming after i finish it, just for the sake of maxing out gear.

At least you wouldn't be bored.

the whole point of inferno is that it is stupid, impossibly hard - it was supposed to be end-game content that would take months to beat. if anything, being able to drive by the AH and cruise through inferno in less than a month after release is not what they wanted. you should be cannon fodder unless you are absolutely geared to the teeth, and even then it should be ridiculously difficult. now, is it a fun kind of difficult? thats your call; endlessly kiting might not be the most entertaining thing in the world but people clamored for hard end-game content and they got it.

Beat normal mode. Also got my first legendary item.... Frostburns. Not a great set of gloves for my lvl 32 barb. Haha.

Cancel auctions at any time by changing your windows time. With the AH open tab out and change windows time to 2-3 days prior and everything is able to be cancelled.

just tried it on OSX and it works, in cause there are any mac players out there.

You tried cancelling where there's a bid on it already?

TL/DR: more complaining

i agree that it should've taken months to beat, but when you have people practically maxed out to the point where they have NO dps and they still get 2 shotted? that's depressing.

also, i feel as though blizzard forgot one of the core lures of diablo 2... there were multiple viable builds. i remember making an explosion potion barbarian and he would kick all kinds of ass. there are no multiple viable builds in diablo 3.

another trick for vortex (esp. as a demon hunter) is that if you're around a corner or a loop, vortex can't suck you in so you can just continue to shoot devouring arrows.

to be quite honest, the monster affixes aren't what bother me. i've beat practically any and all types of monster affixes thus far (how many deaths is another question).

it's more the buggy monster phases (ie. diablo or azmodan in hell or even belial)... and even moreso than that is the buggy

i was in the original beta for this game i've played through it's multiple gameplay changes.
i sincerely feel as though the game was rushed out to market since the current rune/skill system was only released this past november or so... usually blizzard releases are NEARLY flawless... now obviously there will be some glitches/bugs on release day (no game is perfect), but i feel as though when you mention a company like blizzard, they will have most of the major encounters patched up properly.

not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but there are tons of posts like mine on the forums and of course these will be ignored by blizz and i will be flamed endlessly on the forums by fanboys even more hardcore than i.

besides, blizzard has already made it's cash. who cares what i think. they already have my hundred bucks (plus thousands i've given in wow subscriptions and other games, not to mention the hours i've devoted to this game)
