i agree that it should've taken months to beat, but when you have people practically maxed out to the point where they have NO dps and they still get 2 shotted? that's depressing.
also, i feel as though blizzard forgot one of the core lures of diablo 2... there were multiple viable builds. i remember making an explosion potion barbarian and he would kick all kinds of ass. there are no multiple viable builds in diablo 3.

the trick for vortex is staying at edge of screen, for instance. vortex has a range and if you're outside of it, they can't cast it.
anyway, if you beat it on inferno, not much else to do unless you want to play a different class. i don't see myself playing once i'm done. don't have the time/patience to keep farming after i finish it, just for the sake of maxing out gear.
another trick for vortex (esp. as a demon hunter) is that if you're around a corner or a loop, vortex can't suck you in so you can just continue to shoot devouring arrows.
to be quite honest, the monster affixes aren't what bother me. i've beat practically any and all types of monster affixes thus far (how many deaths is another question).
it's more the buggy monster phases (ie. diablo or azmodan in hell or even belial)... and even moreso than that is the buggy
i was in the original beta for this game i've played through it's multiple gameplay changes.
i sincerely feel as though the game was rushed out to market since the current rune/skill system was only released this past november or so... usually blizzard releases are NEARLY flawless... now obviously there will be some glitches/bugs on release day (no game is perfect), but i feel as though when you mention a company like blizzard, they will have most of the major encounters patched up properly.

not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but there are tons of posts like mine on the forums and of course these will be ignored by blizz and i will be flamed endlessly on the forums by fanboys even more hardcore than i.
besides, blizzard has already made it's cash. who cares what i think. they already have my hundred bucks (plus thousands i've given in wow subscriptions and other games, not to mention the hours i've devoted to this game)
