I wish I could go. Sounds interesting.

I'd go with the gray nailhead.

I say gray nailhead. Sounds like an ambitious project for Netflix. Good luck.

I agree, gray nailhead. The BBC original was great, and I'm looking forward to this version.

Hell, I forgot my newest addition was ready. Navy BB nailhead. White semi spread collar with white linen pocket square.

Here's an older pic of it.

I was thinking conservative business dress but I want to have a bit of 'notice-ability'. I'm going with black Church's wingtip bals and a burnt orange Ferragamo tie.

I wish I'd seen this earlier. I might have gone. Love Kevin Spacey. I saw him in Moon for the Misbegotten from 3 rows back and he was a better James Tyrone, Jr. than Gabriel Byrne (who was also fantastic in the role).
EDIT:
Emailed them a pic per instructions in the article. Thanks Dig!

You're welcome!

I kept a journal of how it all went down just in case the impossible happens. Lots of sitting in one area and then getting moved to another area. Then you stand in a line in a stairwell until you hand someone your information sheet. Then you take it back and go stand in another stairwell leading to a hallway and so forth. I was number 519 and there was another hundred or so people behind me.

Three head shots and two full body pics while I held up a small whiteboard(!) with my name and 519 written on it. As I walked up to get my pics taken, I wished the photog (young guy with a golf style cap) a happy birthday. I had previously overheard him mention it when he briefly spoke with a woman that he knew who was ahead of me in one of the lines. I figured it couldn't hurt. He seemed surprised and asked how I knew. I fessed up and I hope it resulted in a better picture.

There were a LOT of normal looking people who were somehow slightly above average in physical appearance. Lots of crappy looking, mostly black suits. Square toes. Shoulder divots. Horrible ties. No tie with the top button buttoned. Ties with jeans and sport coats. Ties with jeans and zip front hoodys. LOTS of black shirts. Puddles of pant legs around almost every ankle.

The women's clothing wasn't much better but they were still enjoyable to look at.

I spent almost two hours in line directly behind a young loudmouth who monopolized the attention of the young lady in front of him. She wore a fairly attractive navy/pinstriped suit (the jacket had a ticket pocket!), cute shoes and nylons with some serious runs up the back. Other parts were a bit more mesmerizing.

What time is stitchy allowed to come back on the internet? I want to know if the man gnashing his teeth outside of the entrance to the casting hall was him. He was wearing nice darker brown shoes with a whitish film in the creases.

I almost forgot.

Among the unusual questions asked on the info page that I had to fill out was the question, "Can you provide your own tuxedo ? If so, describe it."

Do you think they care that it's a single button shawl lapel and that I have my own pumps? Do you think they know what pumps are?
