I do mine after usually 5K in 1600 and 800 intervals, and in between different exercises. Usually part of a 90 minute workout (if I cut things out, I can get things in in about 75 minutes)
My gym is an independently owned place where there are actually heavy bags, bobs, and pads. I can never get comfortable with places that have like, fancy t.v.s on the treadmills, or have more cardio equipment than free weights, etc...
