I've had 6 days off but I should be able to get 100 tonight, usually I'm strong as fuck after 3 days of no pullups.

THanks fok been on vaca and will be for awhile so will try not to lose strength or sexiness this week.

I turned 38 today, and was hellbent on doing a really hard workout to start out the year right. My (very) long term goal is to have the power you see from those old Kung Fu masters who have been practicing their art their entire life, when I'm 70 or 80.

I think I'm going to start doing 100 pullups every day, however many sets that takes (probably 8-9) Also going to do 200 pushups and 200 situps daily. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

If you can do 100 in sets of 10+ the entire time, hats off to you. I start off with sets of 12 or so, but I can only sustain 10 or more for 6 or 7 sets. The last 30 or so usually take me about 3 broken sets, which I count as about 5-6 sets. So, my 100+ takes 11 to 13 sets. I do about 200-300 pushups a day, but I never do any situps. I've heard too many horror stories about them, and ime, they strain the back. I do other things for abs that seem to work just as well.

Pun just keep doing them. When I started I used to do sets of 8 then it became 10, then 12. Soon I was doing 4 sets of 15 then that became 18. Goal was 20 after that then became 4 sets of 22. Now it's 4 sets of 25 at the bare minimum. On a good day I can do 4 sets of 30 but I'm no longer trying to increase. My one set max is probably around 40 or so, underhand I did 50 about three weeks ago. I'm pretty much the pullup king at my gym nobody can touch me but there are some guys who are decent. I do them as a warm up every time I'm in the gym which is about 4x a week, but I haven't been in 8 days due to my NYC trip and being too lazy to go past couple of days.

100k is a big goal now. Have you re-assessed the goal since the OP? I'm new to the world of SF these days so I'll start my posting back where I belong.

Nice work jet, can you do a muscle up? I am going to attempt one tomorrow when I'm fresh.

LA guy, I actually loathe situps, and they're not easy to do when I don't have an annoyed girlfriend handy to stand on my feet. What ab exercises do you recommend?
