havent been able to break through 9 consecutive unassisted pullups for awhile now so i ditched band assisted pullups in favour of strict form wide grip unassisted pullups with a 3sec negative. talk about humiliating. went from sets of 14 to 5,3,3,2,2,1,1,1,1,1...

As long as your form is good i would try to add some weight. I plateaued at sets of 10 for the longest time. Then i started doing 3 sets of 3 at 1.5x bw followed by 1 set of bw to failure and have made good gains.

Even with a 10 or 20lb weight you will notice a big difference

yeah, aiming for 2x10 unweighted before i add weight. i can do 9,5,4,2 with a straight overhead grip and today was my first time doing wide grip unweighted. i have been meaning to add in more frequency by knocking out 20 or so daily but i havent found a pullup bar that will fit in my house yet

+24 = 20,724

I got an app for my iPhone called 20 chinups, which is supposed to be able to get you to do 20 consecutive pull-ups by the end of the program. Not sure if it's any good but I figure it's worth a shot.

20824 + 82 = 20906 (I was shooting for 100, but had to get home to make lunch for my daughter.)
