A Daily "Mens Clothing" and "Streetwear and Denim" Fit Comparison Thread - Page 26

I like them both, though anyone who knows me knows that I'm much closer to the Stephan Schneider fit on the left. The only thing I don't like in the MC fit is the pocket square in the coat. In Chinese, there is a saying that you draw legs on a snake. It's going one step too far, and makes the look too fussy.

Agreed. Also, that FW season from Schneider was amazing.

Thank you for the background context. Both look appropriate.

The grass is equally green. That could be an eye opener.

don't like either.

MC
The somewhat baggy chinos with the cuffs and then the chisel toe shoes just looks odd. The shirt is fine, but the jacket seems to big or the button stance is off or something. maybe its just the awkward pose, but it just looks off.

SWD
Well, I still don't get what makes it special, but it seems to fit better and looks ok.

if I had to pick, id go with sWD

Both fine. Colors good. Jermyn's shoes seem a little formal for those pants (a common gripe of mine with many MC casual looks), and I would have the pants hemmed rather than turn them up myself. For me the pocket square is a bit much (legs on a snake, jumping the shark, whatever). Hendrix is fine for what is basically a take on t-shirt and jeans. Less to go wrong, and less did.
