I actually have no idea what kind of quality Apple uses, but am happy to take your word that they use the good stuff. And I am looking at SDHC prices, not chips (obviously). But class 10 cards from Kingston/Sandisk/Mushkin come in at $15 or less.
It's not as if it's only Apple who does this, but it's still ridiculous. I was pricing out a Lenovo laptop the other day, and an extra 4gb stick of ram was $160. Quality brands at Newegg are $20. At least with the Lenovo, it takes me 5 minutes to add it myself.
Don't mean to sound overly negative. Hey, I'm buying the phone, and I'm excited to get it. But bullshit is bullshit.
