iPhone 5 - Page 260

I'm still grandfathered in on unlimited. They don't give a damn what smartphone you use as long as you keep paying your bills. There have been rumors that they might try and force people off these plans at some point like Verizon has done but you should be good for now.

Curious how much data you guys use. I am a power user and hardly ever reach over three gigs a month. Typical is much lower.

I probably use that or less. I just hate to give something up that I'l never get back.

Learned that from Betty-Sue all those years ago.

You wouldn't mind so much if you took calls in your asshole.

I'm not even sure what that means.

Don't get me started on itunes - the single most convoluted, ugly and useless ui I've ever seen.

I'll ask here as I only speak apple right now.

What phone?

How to handle music and itunes on phone if I still use macbook?

Anyone know what happens to my grandfathered AT&T unlimited date if I switch?

They can always slip some new verbage into the fine print when you upgrade phones through AT&T.  If you're nervous about that (like I am) just buy a phone off contract and viola!  Nothing in your contract will change

I too am grandfathered in on AT&T and haven't gotten a new phone from them since 2010.  I have no clue how much data I use and really don't care

Same boat, though I regularly use 2.5 to 3 gigs. Streaming podcasts, downloading Businessweek and the Economist every week, lots of facebooking and web use.

Interesting data showing that Apple has widened it's lead over the 2nd highest selling handset manufacture in the US, Samsung. http://www.loopinsight.com/2013/04/04/apple-widens-its-lead-on-samsung-in-the-us/

Keep in mind this data is relevant to the individual companies and their handset market share. If you include all "Android phones" into a single pot, then Google is still in the lead (even if that lead has slightly diminished).

Apple's doing just fine.

i'm interested to see what the iOS updates are, i think projections are for a summer time release of sorts.

i just hope they don't sacrifice performance for stupid features that will "wow" the public. I won't use eye-scroll technology just like I don't use "talk to text", so spare me the stupidity.

I tether style forum every day about from my phone to my laptop. I use about 5 gigs each month.

Dumped my IP5 for a 64 GB HTC One (it's a developers edition so I'll get the OS updates faster)- Android has pretty much surpassed iOS (which I already knew since even on the iPhone my most used apps were form Google).
