No, And it's unlikely that anyone will.

This was always part of the dmca but was suspended pending review. Phones that were unlocked before the final decision was made are grandfathered. How will authorities or carriers want to make complaints be able to tell when a phone was unlocked?

Meanwhile, unlocked phones will still be available direct from manufacturers. Albeit at a higher price.

IANAL but under the DMCA, it's a felony to break DRM and rip your own DVDs and Blu-ray discs, so you can play them on your iPhone or iPad. But has anyone been arrested, tried and convicted of this?

The charges will be levied on businesses that help people unlock phones not individuals, I suspect.

Anyone got any must have apps for a jailbroken Iphone?

As the company I currently work for issued a workphone, and I detest having to lug two phones around, I ordered the 2phone kit to have two sims on standby on my 4S. As this requires the phone to be jailbroken, I might as well add some more apps for jailbroken phonesProblem is., I havent found anything worthwiloe thusfar, except one that allows me to put 5 apps in the launchbar..

Great now the WSJ and The Economist are inside newsstand, which I managed to put in a folder but it doesn't work when I press it.

Thanks, thusfar I've only killed newsstand (never used it, flipboard works for me), and increased all rows to 5 icons.
Waiting for the 2phone kit to arrive untill i install their app. Thusfar little difference noticed, but I do want to close the cydia app after each use. Seems to drain the battery a tad quicker.

Runnign the jailbreka for a bit. Kinda neat but I wish more of the apps had more polish. Some of them are just messy.

Wish there was a way to specify wifi network priority.

Got the Switcheasy Tones in. First impressions:

Perfect fit. The material is sort of a mix of hard and soft plastics but the form factor is slim without sacrificing covering any edges. Way slimmer than the Speck case I had on there before. Doesn't add any significant bulk to the phone either. The material on the back has kind of a matted feel so its easy to pick up without feeling slippery. The color isn't really black though. More of a grey/dark grey combo. Comes with screen protectors and plugs to fit the port holes. Definitely the best one I've found so far.

Do you guys also experience this volume bug where the volume of your ringer and notifications is tied to media applications? For example, if you're watching a movie trailer and you set the volume slider to 1/4 because you're a normal human being, then the volume of your text tones, typing, etc. all become ridiculously quiet too!

It's fucking retarded and I can't believe they STILL haven't fixed this. I can't be the only one who experiences this. I even have that option in the sound settings to not have my volume ringer be affected by the sound buttons.

Back when I had an iPhone 4, the volume of all my alerts was always constant, regardless of what volume level I set my media applications to.

Absolutely infuriating.

I got a switcheasy tones after my screen breaking two weeks ago. I am very happy with it, it looked like it would be bulky but I really don't notice it.

Time will tell if the improved iPhone 5 home button design holds up, but the 4/4S were always prone to them going out. Here's some tips and tricks to help if that happens to you. http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/heres-what-to-do-when-your-iphone-home-button-no-longer-works-183899
