Another question:

Should I setup my phone and ipad with a different apple id?

I setup the new ipad with the same apple id and suddenly the apps the kids are downloading are appearing on my phone.

I dont want this, is there a setting? And are my apps on my phone that I dont want on the ipad going to appear on the ipad at some point?

You can keep the same ID or setup a new one. If you want to keep the same one, go into your phone, general, iTunes & App Stores, and turn off Automatic Downloads.

Ya, that was key, thanks. I turned off auto sync in itunes bit it was still happening. Now they seem separated.

here is another....can i sync my mac air calendar with my iphone5? is there a way that 1 updates the other and vice versa?

I bought the Downcast app, which is a far superior podcast service than the Apple one. Between the treasure chest of podcasts and the quality camera, I'm now satisfied.

I am looking at selling my iphone5 after having it for barely 2 weeks - what price should I be aiming for?

I'll take a cash bet with anyone on this forum that BB10 will be DOA. In the least, within a year. Company is going to sell itself to the highest bidder and be a forgotten technology from yesteryear.

EDIT: I'm going to be blunt here. If you think BB can make a comeback with what they have shown of BB10 so far after lagging behind the industry for 5 years, you are smoking the special kind of crack. Please share.

I never said I had any faith in BB10, just clarifying what the acronym meant. I was all BB before my iPhone and have had every iPhone since the 4 came out on vzw, having had 3 or so before my first iPhone. Unless something comes out that syncs to my iPad and (more importantly) computer more easily and seamlessly than the iPhone or is just simply absolutely better than it, iOS is the road for me.
