pB - where did you buy it and how much did it cost?

They only have five approved ones they list on their website. I got this one so I can have wireless and a modem in one, a little over $100. I'm happy because my old Airport has been crapping out. It is like 5 years old and the slower speed one.

Searched launcher on apple app store and a ton of them showed up. Don't have any idea how to choose one or know if it works like the one you used on Android.

I use garage door, it's already on the phone, but that is more about notifications than about launching apps and files.

Been holding out for an iPad Mini under the fatuous assumption it would be priced ~250 starting. $329 for a non "retina" display? Feh. Looks like now's a good time to break from the Apple Store and seriously consider a Nexus 7.

Or wait 6 months for when they release the iPad MiniS a.k.a. mini 2.

Hands on reports indicated the display's nicer then Nexus 7's in most ways, just not as high of a PPI. The mini appeared to have better black levels, color reproduction and viewing angles. The lower PPI is certainly a problem for Apple here, but its important to keep in mind the areas that the mini may have an advantage. We won't know for sure till the formal reviews hit.

Now, I would have a hard time using he mini because I'm used to my Retina iPad, but for someone coming in having not owned the iPad 3 it may not propose a problem.
